33cl Bottle at Lost Property, tasted side-by-side with Schans Brown (courtesy of theRunningBoar) to see if it’s not just a rebranded beer. Clear dark amber brown colour, creamy off-white head. Aroma of nuts, cocoa, some dark fruits, quite floral, less sweet and less fruity than the Brown. Flavour is light sweet, floral, toasted malts, burnt caramel, cocoa, dry malty nutty and light hoppy bitterness in the finish. A lot dryer and less sweet than the Brown, more balanced. Nice beer from De Schans again. Light to medium-bodied, soft mouthfeel.
