Description
February 2020, Brussels. We brew for the first time at home. We don't really know what we're doing yet. We think. We try. We make mistakes. We try to improve it as best we can. And then we stress throughout the fermentation.
We start microbrewery lessons at the EFP in Brussels and we brew dozens of tests before finalizing our first beer: the Fugushima.
Not currently having a standard brewing place meeting the highest of standards or sufficient financial means, we lend the recipe to a partner brewery (Brouwerij Anders, Halen, Limbourg) to start. By offering beers that represent who we are, we hope one day to be able to swim together in the hops and make you discover the fruits of our own production.

Small white head over palet yellow-golden beer, finely carbonated. Aromatic, if modest hops. Citrus & exotic fruit, herbal. Dry hops, with fruity, if again, dullish esters. Other grains, kernels, citruspeel. Very light body; medium carbonation, absolutely refreshing. Excellent as a summer refreshener.

12/IV/25 - 44cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ holiday in France, BB: 1/VII/25 (2025-344)
Cloudy greyish purple beer, small creamy light purplish head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: sourish impression, fruity notes, coconut, a hint of vanilla, sweet impression, some dank hops. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: nice sweet start, sugary, some coconut, lots of vanilla, very sugary, too sweet. Aftertaste: sugary, vanilla, coconut, dank hops, resinous touch, sweet, quite some lactose.

Tap. Gist, Brussels. Hazed pale gold. Slim white foam. Dusty hop. Oats. Sweet grain. Taste is pretty sweet with a slightly harsh bitterness. Drinkable enough but a bit dusty and ragged.

Fast gone transparant head over veiled, yellow-golden beer. Citrus, citrusconcentrate, faraway oxydation (well withing BBd). Dry, oxydated malts, powdered lemonpeel, corianderpowder, horseradish powder. Well carbonated, quite slick, bit fiery MF. Not over the moon with this one. And with the blurb, I wouldn't recommend selling it in Japan...

(Draught at Le Barboteur, Brussels, 16 Oct 2024) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of passionfruit, citrus, lemon, yuzu and pear. Fruity, slightly tart taste with passionfruit, lemon, yuzu, apples and lychee. No bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fruit and refreshing, with a mild acidity. Nice one.
