600ml bottle. Dark burnt orange pour, and a large off white head. The aroma is funky, and quite vinous. Solid white wine, vinous aromas with loads of stone fruit, and light tropical fruit.. Hints if pine resin and light citrus zest. Earthy, lots of barrel notes, some nice funky notes. This is quite complex and really interesting. The extensive write wine aging of the festivale have really transformed this beer. The finish is medium bitter with some strong tartness and funk with loads of funky vinous white wine, with hints of vinegar. Super complex, I loved it.

600ml bottle. Obvious black pour, with a medium brown head. Aroma is quite roasty, subtle hints of dark fruit and alot of barrel. Predominantly Bourbon barrel, hints if sweetness probably from the rum, but I can’t find any wine barrel, maybe a tad bit of smokiness from the whisky. Mouth feel is thinner than I expected, but the carb is soft as I expected. The finish is medium bitter, and more copious amounts of Bourbon barrel notes. Some cocoa, and coffee follow with some good roast. A nice stout, but a bit of a barrel bomb, the Bourbon barrel dominates.

Crisp, clean, big yeasty flavours, some lemon rind, grassy, dried hay. Mouth feel is solid, with a good crisp carb. Finish is crisp, and malty, nice sharp cereals, sharp grassy hops, medium bitterness. Such a great session ale, when i sit outside in rhe sun this is my ideal beer.

650ml bottle. Clear golden pour, medium white head. Aroma is full of lovely pale malts, and quality cereals, with a hint of pine. Crisp body, nice mouth feel. Malts a touch too sweet though, and take away from that crisp clean finish I think of in a nice pics. Nice hip notes though, and cereals are tasty, just a touch too sweet.

Toasty, roasty, Porter mixed with grape soda. Fruity, grape pop,. I can’t find peanut butter anywhere. Subtle roast, this is a big meh.

Hazy orange pour, with a medium eggshell head. Toasted cereals, lots of herbal aromas. Some Mint, subtle basil, some lemongrass. Grassy hops, some dried hay, apricots. Standard mouth feel, good carb. The finish is medium bitter, leaning towards high. Pithy bitterness, some solid pine flavours in the finish, with more soft mint flavours and more herbs.

Clear purple pour, with a tiny white head. Aroma is very earthy, and sweet. The beets empart an earthy sweetness, with more or a fruity sweetness from the hibiscus, and slme light lemony pine aromas from the spruce. The juniper, i cant seem to find it. The body is watery, and the carb is almost flat. Finish is again very earthy with a subtle earthy/fruity sweetness. No bitterness, just a shoty dry earthy finish.

750ml, corked and caged. Slightly hazy golden pour, with a huge white head. Aroma is very yeasty, with huge tropical fruit notes. As it warms and mellows a strong peach aroma moves to the forefront, along with some nice woody, sligtly funky aromas. A very effervescent carb, and a nice mouth feel. The finish is lightly bitter with more fruit, strong yeast, slight minerals, some wet paper and grassy hops.

600ml bottle from the lcbo. Dark copper pour, small beige head. Aroma is very grassy, with mineral tastings caramel malts. Crisp mouth feel, solid carb. A sharp grassy hop finish, with some medium bitterness and alot of semi sweet toffee and caramels. Nice stuff.
