Lemon, biscuit malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with large white head and moderate effervescence. Lightly sweet lemon, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body.

Kind of a beer beer; no frills, not even offering up the normal Kölsch grainy brightness, just a good ale that tastes like a good ale. Memorable in its lack of specificity.

Bigger 19oz can, pouring a hazy golden-orange colour with a frothy warm-whitish head, good retention and some foamy lacing spots left. Oh boy, big, big orange juice aromas with some alcoholic bite, some candy notes and hints of grassiness. Getting the candy-oranges in the taste, but not as sweet as expected, with a quicker drying finish, a tad zest left and tart. A touch of tropical fruitiness blending well. Just a bit of warming, so alcohol is well-hidden in the mouth for 9% ABV. Maybe essences in here, but I do not mind them the way they are balanced. A nice-hitting, very juicy Double Hazy IPA that goes down very well.

Golden colour with very tiny particles floating around, creating a little haziness. The head is bubbly-frothy, whitish and leaves decent soapy lacing. Getting a bit of wax at first pour, but then - the juiciness starts with peaches, tropical fruits, pineapple notes and caramel. Pretty much the same occurs in the taste with some building dryness in the end. Gets a little hazier as it pours. Wet, somewhat juicy mouthfeel. Not a bad hazy, fruity, wet IPA - just lacking a little thickness, substance to be juicy as fuck.

Lightly hazed, light golden-yellow with a foamy white, small head, decent stay and mild soapy lacing spots. Lemon zest aromas, orange juice and some tropical fruit, herbal notes. A crisp, lighter-bodied mouthfeel. Citrus peel and tad juices in the flavours. Not a bad juicy IPA, but does feel like a lighter 4% ABV version all-around.

Dark brown colour, now with no more head. Aroma of caramel, vanilla. Weak and with little sweetness; flavour of caramel, brown sugar, some vanilla. Simple.

600ml shared with Josh @ Ryan's (thx? for the bottle). Appearance: very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma: a bit sweet, some chocolate, roasted malts. Feels thin, though. Taste: along the same lines, quite carbonated, chocolatey, a bit dry. Overall: ok, nothing special.

Poured from 600mL bottle (thanks Sammy; pkg Sept 27, 2023). Very dark brown with small beige head. Burnt roast and caramel malt, feint vanilla and coffee, could be a bit rounder and sweeter for a dessert stout, but it's okay.

Dark brown. Not much head. On the nose, it smells like it's too light and thin to be a pastry stout. There's a touch of caramel, maybe coffee. Medium body, but I wouldn't say sugars. So it lacks the desserty richness, and I don't get a lot of vanilla, or caramel, so it's mostly the base stout I get here. Ok, for me that misses the mark because dessert should be rich, and this is more of an off-dry. Needs more everything, really, because more chocolate or coffee would do something. This sort of falls into the mushy middle of not being good at anything. But as they say, haters gonna hate.

Lightly unfiltered, light-golden with a pink hue, a big white cap, decent lasting and leaving a little soapy film on the glass. Fresh raspberry aromas with a touch of lime. The lime really stands out in the taste, with some strong sourness. The raspberries linger in the back, leaving some tart on the tongue. Quite a refreshing, fruity, sour, lighter beer.
