Bottle from the lickbow. Hazy orange pour, huge, pillowy white head. Big orange zest, orange juice and candied citrus zest. Great hop presence, solid, citrus, and tropical fruit. Light vinous notes, Beaus nailed this. Excellent ipa!

600ml bottle. Hazy dark Orange pour, medium off white head. Aroma upfront in a big way is very medicinal. Lots of lavender, and green tea, and a lot of dried thyme. The barrel is slightly earthy, and adds a noticeable acidity. Woody, and vinous notes are present, and with a touch of tartness and a huge smack of thyme to finish it off. Very low bitterness and a full mouth feel, and soft carb. Interesting to say the least. I think this would have benefitted from more time in the barrel, to reel in the thyme flavour.

On tap at the crown and beaver in North Bay. Hazy golden pour, with a small white head. Aroma is quite lemony, with hints if herbs, and some subtle lavender. Body and mouth feel are clean and crisp, and refreshing. The finish has a subtle sweetness, some pale malts come through, light cracked and more lavender with a bitter lemon oil kick. Interesting.... Not sure I see this as a "tripel" but it’s an interesting attempt at a gruit tripel.

On tap at the crown and beaver in North Bay Ontario. Dark brown, almost Opaque, with medium sized beige head. Aroma is quite roasty, with solid nutty notes. Nice cereals, very light papery hops. Lovely mouth feel, soft carb. Finish is crisp, clean, and slight dry, with more roast and alot more cereals. Refreshing and quite a nice quaff at lunch.

On tap at the crown and beaver in North Bay Ontario.
Hazy orange pour, with a big foamy white head. Aroma is quite fruity, apricot, pear, hints if white wine grapes and some light bretty notes. Carbonation is quite lively, mouthfeel reminds me of a Belgian tripel. Finish is aggressively bitter, with some light oak, no signs of the hopped vodka at all. It all ends in a very strong green, hop Cone bitterness. Not bad, but whoa the end is not expected.

Bottle. Hazy yellow pour, medium white head. Aroma is quite citrusy, lots of wheat, lemon oil, lemon zest. A nice fruity wit, subtle coriander, lots of citrus. No blood orange specifically, zero cocoa. Good, not great.

Wet paper, lichen, minerals, vegetal, low bitterness, dry, and a tad harsh. Hints of pine resin, straw and wet grass. Not a fan.

Brewers, stop using ginger in your beers! Another nice beer ruined by incredibly overpowering ginger. The aroma is all earthy, lemony ginger. There is also a strong pithy bitterness thag is accompanied again by overwhelming ginger Aroma and flavour. The ginger completel dominates and turns thus into a very hitter ginger beer. Meh.

650ml bottle. Slightly. Hazy orange pour, small white head. Aroma is right off the bat, is very earthy. Subtle citrus is mixed in with super earthy, lemony, spruce tips. Good mouth feel, and carb, and a medium to light bitterness. More, sprucy, lemony, earthy flavours. The spruce tips are quite up front on both ends of this beer.
