Bottle shared at GBBF 2015 - cheers! Pours clear, rich brown with a frothy, tan head. The nose holds roasted malts, chocolate, earth. Medium sweet flavour with further sturdy roast character, dried fruits, mellow earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more rich chocolate cake, subtle earthy bitterness. Very nice.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Very dark red dark brown colour lasting tan head. Milk chocolate aroma with some dark fruits too. OK carbonation. I thought that this was quite malty easy drinking interesting beer and it hides the ABV very well. Yes tasty indeed. Just a little bit of paper somewhere, but otherwise fine.
