Almost clear deep red, frothy beige head. The nose has vague cooked fruit, some caramel, light candied grapefruit - not too hoppy and overall faint. The taste is similar - everything as in a red IPA, just divided by two. So, a clean and well manufactured beer, just lacks hops as well as malt oomph. Just decent.

BOTTLE from Berero. Hazy yellow, pillowy white head. The aroma is delicate flowers, white grapefruit and pomelo, a hint of honey but no cloying malt sugars. The taste follows, with an airy crisp body and clean clear light bitterness. A great quencher - delicate flavours, crisp body, no offs. Excellent.

Hazy amber, soapy white head. The aroma has some coffee, but nice and balanced, without anything standing way out - mild amber malts, some grass or lemon grass, green vegetal coffee. Similar taste, medium body, low grassy vegetal bitterness. Quite nice and well put together.

5/8/2018. Bottle traded courtesy of ciocanelu, cheers. Pours very slightly hazy dark gold with a foamy lasting just off-white head. Aroma of malt, wheat, citrus, grass and light tropical fruit. Light sweetness, fairly heavy bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, above average carbonation. Bitterness is a bit overpowering and too dominant.

JUL-2019. Draft at CCBF. Hazy golden, frothy head. Bready/doughy, lemony, just a touch of young beer green fruit. Similar taste, bready lemony and chewy. Very light bitterness which is not a problem for the overall balance. An excellent fresh young lagerbier. 3,6/5.
APR-2018. Batch #2. Cloudy golden-amber, decent white head. Smells fresh, green apricot, light bready malts, maybe just a little bit of fusel. Similar green lager flavour, light and slightly harsh bitterness. Not terrible, but batch 2 still has room for improvement. 6-4-5-3-11=2,9
JAN-2018. BOTTLE 50 CL. Batch#1. Cloudy golden, white soapy head. Subtle malt and bread, touch of green fruit and stricken match - not bad. The taste is lightly sweet and fruity / estery, with that young beer tang / acidity and lively mouthfeel, slight astringency and light grassy hop. Unlike other beers from this brewery - no major flaws. A decent micro / rustic lager. 5-3-6-3-12=2,9

JUL-2019. Cloudy, somewhat muddy amber, nice head. The aroma is restrained caramel malts and some spicy hops - not sugary at all, but still has that amber character. Simlar taste - caramel, but kept at bay, soft piney bitterness. A slight bready cheesy note - the only minor problem. 3,4/5.
APR-2018. Batch #2. Clear amber, off-white head. Light caramel, more like macerated cereals. Harsh boozy taste with some caramel thrown in. Nope, still massively flawed. At least it looks better now. 5-4-4-2-8=2,3.
JAN-2018. BOTTLE 50 CL from Berero. Murky dull muddy brown, diminishing head. Smells ok - vague fruit and jam, sweet bread or muffins, a touch of fresh zucchini. Dry harsh astringent flavor with no particular flavor. Light woody bitterness. A beginner's homebrew. 5-2-4-2-8=2,1

JUL-2019. DRAFT at CCBF. Hazy amber, off-white head. Subtle caramel and tart orange and tangerine. At this intensity and character it seems just a little bit artificial. Similar flavour with a light to moderate citrus pith bitterness. Nice and clean. 3,6/5.
APR-2018. Batch #2. Slightly hazy dark amber/brandy, off-white head. Subtle caramel malts and dark bread, maybe some hops but not much. At least it smells clean, albeit al little watery. Taste: same subtle cara-breadiness, distinct rotten fruit (and this is not an overstatement), light yet pungent bitterness with some boozy notes. Far from being an IPA, and event further from a good one. Still, it is better that Batch 01. 6-4-5-3-11=2,9.
JAN-2018. BOTTLE 50 CL from Berero. Murky amber, fast diminishing head. Smells of green apple and glue. Harsh dry tannic body, with no particular flavour, and some sharp bitterness. Hardly drinkable. 3-2-5-2-7=1,9.

Batch 2 at CCBF. Deep brown, beige head. The taste is chocolate liqueur, and dark fruit that are a bit too tart. That's just a hint funk in this keg. The tater solid unsweet, well balanced chocolate dried plum mix, optimal alcoholic heat and spice. The right hoppy bitterness. Excellent. 3,9/5.
BOTTLE 33 CL. Cloudy brown to black, soapy beige head. Some sweet chocolate and treacle, roasted grains, but mostly paint remover. The has some of that malț base too, and the same super harsh solvent like heat. Batch 001, almost undrinkable. 2,0/5.
