Bottle 0.75l from our archive, two years aged. Almost clear, dark red to black colored. AROMA- huge spiceness, gingerbread, clove, star anise and so on, some sour cherries, sweet dessert, some chocolate. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, lightly bitter, really strong spiceness again, sour cherry dessert. Fuller bodied. Sourish, but I simply love these spices...

A bottle saved for a year by the brewer who shared it at BGB, thanks to her and Jirka for getting me to try it! Dark brown body, off-whtie head. Spicy aroma, speculaas-like big spiciness, perfumey, lovely and light tartness. Speculaas spiciness, soft, tart, light bitterness, light dark maltiness underneath, light tartness. Very much tasty, very pleasant spice profile, good job!

Bottle from who knows where, my brain says F.A. Oranžová, could be wrong. Murky yellow body, white head. Citric aroma, but not without yeasty and light plastic notes, huh... the yeast here detracts a little bit. Tart taste, more sour than expected but not too sour, light, light pear, citric notes, nice and balanced really, still, the weakest of the bunch in my opinion - or it didn't take aging well.

Bottle shared with Iznogud and Miro B. at Bad Flash Karlín, fished it out from the bottom shelf, the last there, and definitely a win. Misty yellow body, white head. Juicy, citrusy, pleasant lightly lactic body with notes of honey and tea. Lean, tart taste, honey, tea, citric tartness, only light lactic adit. Pleasant, simple, summery, very fresh despite some moths of age, an excellent example of the style, clean, just being good at what it's supposed to be without hitting you in your face with excessive flavoring.

Bottle from Pivkupectvi, Prague - via Nathalie via her friend who makes this beer. Well well, ladies and gentlemen, it is my 2000th rating. A journey began back in a small Swedish apartment in 2017, now culminates here in another small Swedish apartment in 2021. Many beers have been consumed; some good, some not so good, some orgasmic, some drain pours. ANYWAY. Let's do this. Aroma is heavy on the lemon and pear. Some sediment in there, gold/yelllow. Fantastic sourness - not too much, would be a superb summer drink, on the banks of the Vltava river with friends and warm weather. Not getting the peppers I must say. But big lemonade vibes. Small lagery taste in the finish.
