Sample at Palace Hall, Malmö December tasting (14/12/2024) - new 🇷🇴 brewery ✅ dark smoked roasted malty with lots of cocoa, burnt brown sugar, meaty notes, dark caramel and toffee, full bodied, whisky infused malty finish. Great first impression.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 24/09/24. Golden to light amber with a fast escaping white head. Nose is funk, vinous, green berry must, hay bale, light acidic nostril tickle. Taste comprises sharp fruit esters, wood must, buggy, grape must, green berry skins, savoury elements. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced acidic spike. Okay sour if a little 1D.

A light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Some glue on the nose largely burns off with some aeration. Light smooth pale malts, a little creamy sweetness. Good ripe grapey wine with a decent touch of white port. Some acetic sourness takes this down several notches, for me. Won't bother some. A little ripe citrus in the fairly intense grape finish. There is a fantastic beer here, encumbered by a few, for me, off flavours. One of that vast legion of beers that is nearly great.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, peaty, vanilla, taste is similar, dry finish.

Dark brown colour, creamy beige foam. Nose of dried fruit, plums, smoke, vanilla. Taste is tart and smoky, notes of plums, bacon with vanilla, woody finish. Great!
