Description
We're a nano brewery located in Oradea, in the North-West side of Romania dedicated to craft brewing. Addictive Brewing is about refusing to fit a pattern or stick to a script. This means the integration of locally sourced elements, all region-specific, in the brewing process, not just as an ideology, but as a fundamental rule to live, breathe and work by. From using only Bihor county sourced fruit, to only Bihor county sourced barrels (or at the very least, barrels that held locally sourced wine or brandy), the brewing process is solely restricted to the unlimited formative, informative and deformative nature of the Bihor county. This was how the first 100% Romanian wild ales were born, Bosco and Falling Heads - in the absence of beer yeast, the full magic of the wild yeast and the local microflora comes into play. Addictive Brewing beers can start from Belgian, German and American recipes, and become... local. The element essential to the entire brewing process is time, local as well. No rush - not the production, not the beer. There's nothing more loathsome than shortcuts.

Batch 2, Draft at Bucharest Craft Beer Festival. Cloudy pale straw, white head. Super fresh and strong pineapple, white citrus, zest aroma. Similar taste - dry refreshingly fruity, zero sugariness, soft coating pithy bitterness. Chewy and supremely quenching. Excellent. 3,9/5

Batch 1, Draft at Cluj Craft Beer Festival. Hazy to cloudy golden amber, big ivory frothy head. Spicy peppery grassy aroma, grassy hops, a touch of polyphenols in the background. Spicy pungent green hop taste, very little malt background and estery footprint. It's neither hops nor malts - harsh and rough, though drinkable. 3,1/5.
