Hmm this will be a weird rating. Mostly because it contains a high number, pilsner and the name Ringnes. If someone told me some year ago that I would highly appreciate a pilsner from Ringnes….well I would tell him to have a talk with his doctor. But now…..ok I rest my case. One of the best pilsner I have ever had. I was put on tap the same day as I arrived. Very fresh and tasty stuff. Hazy golden yellow pour with a fine white head that leaves a nice lacing down the sides of the glass. Looks nice and inviting. Pleasant nice aroma also. mellow fine carbonation level and a nice balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Ok tail in the back of my mouth. Semi dry ending. Malty, herbal and mild mellow citric flavor. Excellent refreshing and tasty pilsner! [On tap @ source]

Nice deep nutty pour with a solid tan head that leaves a fine lacing. Nice and inviting. Also a pleasant aroma with a fine intensity. Balanced sweetness and a mellow carbonation level made it quite easy to drink. Toffee, malty and some roast in the flavor. Nice try for a style that is normally quite boring and dull. 150ml draught at Ringnes Brygghus. Bright amber coloured body, white patchy surface, clingy lacing. Moderate smell of brown malts and yeast. The caramel flavours is offset by a farmyard touch. Malt-fruity endnotes, dry. Medium bodied. Pretty nice. (Grünerløkka, Oslo 04.12.2018).
