Draft. A- Spice, wheat, yeasty. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Heavy spice, black pepper, coriander, wheat. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish. O- This was heavy on the spice. Not a very good balance. Needed some citrus or something to balance it out. Not a bad beer, but just too heavy on the spices.

Draft. A- Soft, lavender, lemon verbana, spices. A- Golden orange color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Soapy, lemon, lavender, fruity esters, mint, herbs, spices. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- A unique take on the style for sure. A bouquet of spices in the aroma and less on the palate that I can’t quite all separate out. A bit soapy tasting. And I don’t mean that in a bad way at all. Reminded me of the mini soaps you get at a fancy hotel. A bit weird but certainly enjoyable.

Draft. A- Roasty, dry, cocoa. A- Black color, dark liquid, beige head. T- Roasty, bakers chocolate, subtle bitterness, dry, mild earthy coffee. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, roasty finish. O- A pretty standard porter by all means. It doesn’t try to show off with any special ingredients. A fair bit of roasted cocoa to it. Don’t get much in terms of coffee other than a slightly earthy bitterness nor do I get any fruity notes as suggested. All in all, a decent porter.
