On tap @Brewdog Vegas. Tiny stemware. Clear, jellied, gold pour. Smells of pineapple, old apples, soap & yeast. Earthy & astringent sourness. Sour white grapes. Lots of oak & leafiness. I thought I liked persimmons? Just okay.

Cute, long-stemmed 6oz glass @Brewdog Vegas. Opaque, cranberry/melon/apple sort of blend. Sweet & fragrant pie cherry skin with a touch of wood. Tart, juicy, sour & sweet cherry pie mix, like Balaton & maraschino with some tart bush cherries. Leafy & subtle medicinal bitterness, good pucker, mild oak, salt on the tail. Strong carb, iron, thin, chem burn, quaffable. Great.

Nice fruit, mellow bugs and tartness, decent complexity, clean. Fruit comes through all right.

On tap at BrewDog DogHotel - Columbus, pours a hazy bright pink-tinged amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of bright red fruits and some subdued bugginess. Flavour is bright and fruity, with intense bramble berry and stone fruit, with oak and plenty of acidity. Bright, fruity and moderately acidic, with plenty of depth. Not amazing but quite pleasant.

On tap at BrewDog DogTap, pours a clear bright by golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of bright, tart citrus, with a touch of bugs in the background. Flavour is bright and clean, with lots of bright persimmon — cross between lemon and orange I guess — with some bugs and light oak. What it lacks in complexity, it makes up for in clarity and vibrancy. Very good.

On tap at BrewDog Franklington (Columbus), pours a hazy bright ruby red with a small off-white head. Nose brings out an earthy floral character -- I guess from the sumac -- with tart berries, oak, and a touch of bugginess. Flavour is dry, fruity and floral, with a buggy, herbal, floral fruity character (the sumac?), along with red berries, oak, and light bugs. Dial down that herbal, earthy, almost vegetal character and I'd like this a lot more. As is, still solid.

On tap at BrewDog Franklington (Columbus), pours a cloudy bright orange with almost no head. Aroma brings out an interesting mix of the tropical fruits along with the vanilla beans, with subdued wild yeast. Flavour is tart, with lots of mint, tropical fruits and vanilla beans in interesting balance. There's a dry tartness that permeates it all and gentle acidity (for the style). Very unorthodox and rather bizarre, but it works pleasantly enough. Good.

On tap at BrewDog Cleveland, pours a cloudy dark red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dark red berries, earthiness, and almost a buggy, lightly phenolic notes. Flavour is clean, with an earthy red berry character, a hint of subdued funk, and some jammy tartness. Nice use of the berries here, finishing lightly buggy, earthy and jammy. Very nice.
