Bottle. Gold with a white head that fades. Aroma of slightly sour grain, faded herbal hops - not great, but not that bad. Taste has mouthfilling grainy sweetness, quite a pronounced metal note. Hops struggle and there’s little bitterness at the end. Well within date but if this was any good it didn’t make it here. DNF.

50cl of Perla Chmielowa with stated ABV of 5%. Straw with a fast fading white head, heavily carbonated; fresh hoppy aroma, but otherwise a standard eastern European pils.(6/3/5/2/10=2.6)

Another 50cl bottle, this time from the shop in Denham and with the expected ABV of 6% Straw with a fast fading white head; fresh, grassy aroma; heavily carbonated with a soft body and a clean flavour, and a lightly hopped finish. Not bad. (6/4/6/3/12=3.1)

(can, 7.6% abv) Clear, golden colour with a fluffy, slightly yellow foamy head. Dusty and sweet malty nose with shy hoppy notes. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a light carbonation. Stale malt-character, hints of plastic; sweetish and slightly corny finish with a whiff of herbal hops. Better than expected but still not that good (15.VII.09).
