Dark brown color with very slight, white lacing - mildly fruity aroma, with some smokiness - relatively full-flavored, with dark malts, roastiness, and hints of dark fruits - finishes with some smoke and peppery flavor - quite decent.

Copper color with good lacework - musty, yeasty aroma, almost like a belgian - flavor is very peppery, with some thin sweet malts for a bock - some hop bitterness makes an unwelcome appearance - something in this tastes like aspartame - not very balanced, and not very enjoyable, either.

Clear yellow color, short white head. Aroma is hoppy, bit herbal. Taste is hopbitter and herbal. Palate is sharp metallic and a bit alcoholic.

The aroma is sweet and malty - very average. The color is yellow and it has a fine head. The flavor is as that of a boring lager: sweet, malty with straw and flower notes. I was disappointed in the fact that the 6.5% ABV wasn't used to make this beer better. To me this is a very average beer.

[draft] A deep red beer with a beutiful head. The flavor is sweet with notes of black currant and yeast. The aroma has a thin start compared to the aroma but then a bitterness from the malt takes over. The malt-flavor is dominated by roasted and black malt. The aroma containes absolutely no sweetness. It ends on a rather dry malt bitter note on the tongue. Not at all what I expected. I thought it would be sweeter and not so bitter.

Dark copper in colour with a nice 1 centimetre tall fluffy white head. The aroma is very nice: grapey, sweet, a bit malty and a very small amount of metal. Very pleasant taste with very obvious malt tastes with the addition of grapes and other sweets. Near the end of the taste comes a bit of metal, very noticeable if you are thinking about coins in the meantime...almost makes me cringe. A very good smelling beer, and the taste is pretty good, but not great. Worth trying, but don't expect it to be the best bock you've had. Overall a pretty spot on beer to the style. I got this 33 cL bottle from Lee & Edwards purchased by JonR888710 in Roanoke, Virginia.

The aroma is a very very light hoppy one. The color is a clear yellow with a beutiful head. The flavor starts out bitter, then comes a soft sweetness with a little sulfor note (could it be the water?), then comes a prickling bitterness together with a metallic note. It has a good start, but then it turns weird. Not a pilsener I can recommend.

Sampled draught at The Rover, Gothenburg, Sweden.
Clear golden with rich, firm head. Bready, very dry and crisp with salty, really bitter, clean finish. A very good example of a classic German pilsener.

Fruity sweet malt aroma with some metallic hop notes. Color like old mahagoni. Good balance in taste between hoppy bitternes and dark malt tastenotes,I get a slight canned impression from the hops though. Chewy body, roasted restsugar stays a bit longer,
