12oz can. I suppose it has a softer mouthfeel, maybe a pinch of oat or wheat. The hops are pretty much old school diesel West Coast, same sensibility as most Ale Asylum beer. Perhaps I find El Dorado to be a pretty boring, unenjoyable variety. Perhaps the experimental one is rather mild, offering some mild honeysuckle, lupulin. It is pretty good, ten years ago this would have been the shizzynizznit. However, these days it is just slightly better than average.

12 ounce can from Total Wine Brookfield, 9/20/19. Hazy almost murky orange, large creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of pale malt, light toast, tropical fruit. Taste is pale malt, orange, pineapple, papaya, mild toast. Really soft and generic tropical notes in this one. Medium bodied, low bitterness. Very tame in ways but it all comes together nicely. Very nice beer.

Smells like something for a bath, nice hoppiness, citrus, earthy too. Refreshing. Notes getting bad fairly early on in the tasting.
