Bottle. Pours an orange-yellow with a diminishing white head. Cloudy and with some floaties. Banana, citrus and cloves in the aroma. Unfortunately there’s a little lactic touch to it as well, but not in a very disturbing way. Some wheat too. Rather bitter finish, with initial flavors of banana and citrus up front, followed by wheat, cloves and some cloves. Medium, effervescent mouthfeel. Sure a decent hefeweizen, but not my favorite. (50 cl bottle at 3 Små Rum, Göteborg) Sampled on February 16 - 2008. BB 07.02.08. First pour gives a slight shady yellow color, big lasting white head. Second pur sets a veil of yeast shadiness and some yeast particles as well. With the very last pour it sets a dark murky cloudy 1 inch thick brownish yeast haze just below the head. Acidic, citrus, yeast, spicy and estery banana scent. Banana, but rather mild, and smooth malt taste with a hint ot metals. Smooth mouthfeel, I was expecting it to be more spritzy, but I’m not complaining. Low bitterness. Sweet aftertaste.

(bottle) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a big and fluffy white head. Yeasty, sweet and moderately wheaty nose with a spicy and light banana fruity touch. Light-sweet flavour with a tinge of acidity, light to medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Yeasty and wheat-malty taste with restrained fruity accents but stronger phenolic spice; moderately dry, slightly slim and bitter, spicy finish. Drinkable, nowadays widely available Weizen; guess it is brewed at Rolinck, Steinfurt (04.02.08).

Bottled(500ml). -Hazy orange coloured, medium sized white head, wheaty nose. Artificial and very perfumy weizen with mild fruit presence. Refreshing but a way too artificial.
