Got this in a can from total wine. Funny we never saw this stuff before since it does say 1909! Yes its a pale lager and it has many of the cheap pale american lager attributes as well. I just may have to eat some hamburgers, french fries, hot dogs or fried chicken after this one. Notice no capital letters for each, could just as well mentioned apple pie, ford, chevy or pizza too. What can I say, its a cheap american lager. Good for downing for an evening, like any other more civilized american so called pilsner lager, hehehehh. But of course since its not in a clear bottle the aroma is acceptable.

330ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small, frothy, fading, snow white head. Slightly artificial lemonade aroma, hints of citric acid, artificial sweetener, lime, lemon. Taste is slightly artificial, minimally sugary, citrusy fruity, notes of lemon, a touch of lime. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Refreshing, drinkable, no vestige of beer - meh.

Backlog. Appearance: Classical pale lager look. Aroma and taste: Crackers, grassy hop. Light sweet and bitter. Mouth feel: Light body, lively carbonation. Summary: A basic budget lager.

Pour is a super clear gold with a fizzy white head that goes away quickly. Aroma is sweet chewy malt. Flavor is again kind of sweet but there comes some mineral lager yeast vibes. Drinkable but kind of watery and bland.
