Black color, frothy head. Mild minty herbal aroma lays over the roassted malt. Lean body, off-dry, with some roasted malt flavor, hints of finocchietto, and mild chili, hence a bit earthy as well.
Not to bad.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small white head. Aroma brings out fennel, chili peppers, and medium roast. Flavour is along the same lines, with light fennel, chili peppers, some dill, green pepper and soft toasted malt. A bit muffled and obscured, but it's pleasant enough.

Bottle picked up at Giangaspero Frutta e Verdura, consumed at home Tuesday 14th March 2017 Pours black with a cinder toffee coloured head. Some creaminess on the nose, picking up the pepper not not necessarily fennel. I think that there is a little heat here, I’m enjoying this but is there a little chilli? Good Impy Stout.
