Tap at MBCC. Jet black with beige head. Nose is big chocolate, coconut notes, molasses, vanilla. Taste is sweet upfront, chocolatey, boozy, nutty but then finishes a tad dry, which I don’t mind at all. Solid impy.

200ml draught, kindly shared by Finn at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Scattered lacing from a filmy layer, black as pitch in the glass. Inviting chocolate aromas, mid-sweet and nicely roasted. Smooth taste character of grainy chocolate and cocoa, backbone with hints of molasses. Roasted finish with chocolate, long-lived. Sipper qualities, pleasing (Tromsø, 29.01.2025).
