Bursztynowa barwa, klarowne, piana g?sta powoli opada. S?odki zapach, karmel, cukierkowy. Metal w smaku, ciut smak IPA bardziej umowny, lodygowa goryczka. Nieporozumienie.

0.5l bottle from pivoteka u modreho lva in budweis, bb 23.08.17. pours a cloudy pale orange with a big frothy white head. mild aroma of fruity hops and grains. flavour of biscuit, spruce, grapefruit juice. quite bitter overall with a long bitter finish. fizzy carbonation. somehow the czech ipa is not very convincing.

50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. An interesting beer, far better than I was expecting after trying the English Pale Ale, and a hybrid of the modern commercial English IPA, Czech brewing, and an extra bag full of hops that can stand up against many American efforts.

An attractive, bright pale amber pour with a loose cream head; strong aroma of damp straw with a slight citrus twist; lots of resinous piney hops in the mouth that resolve into a grapefruity taste; then some alcoholic heat and a dry bitter orange finish with lingering caramel and bitter orange marmalade. I’d certainly have this again (and again).

On tap at Smokie’s pub, Pezinok. Classic czech pilsner, an average one no matter how Primator tries. Good beer for Friday night out though.

50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. A bright amber pour with a billowing off-white head; grassy hop aroma; weak caramel malt taste with some grassy hops; and a malty finish. A reasonable impersonation of a cheap, bottled English ale.
