on tap at the brewery pours out a pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is light citrus hops and a touch of cereal malts. Taste is more of the nice sweet citrus touch of tropical hops and a mellow malt bill.

Crowler from Loose Screw taproom. I was expecting the normal golden blond pour of an American wheat ale, and instead got this dark beauty. Pours out dark brown with a few bubbles which then fade to flat. Aroma is roasty and nutty with a mild sweetness that recalls a German Dunkel. Taste follows this with the wheat giving a nod to a Dunkelweizen, sans the weizen yeast. Roasty, nutty, smooth, and totally poundable. Looking forward to see what else this Brewery can bring to the table.
