Description
Founded by Karan Bilmoria in 1989. The beer was initially brewed at Mysore Breweries in India but, from 1996, was brewed under contract in the UK by Charles Wells. The company went into administration in 2009 and the business was acquired by a joint venture company owned 50.1% by Molson Coors and 49.9% by Karan Bilmoria. Since then the majority of the beer has been brewed at Molson Coors UK’s Burton brewery but the company also has production facilities in Patna, India.

4/4/2018. Bottle at an Indian restaurant in Dorking. Pours pale gold with a lasting white head. Aroma of sweet malt and caramel, with some boiled veg. Medium plus sweetness, minimal bitterness. Light body, soft carbonation. Better than expected.

Thuis uit een flesje. Helder geel gouden kleur, wit schuim dat snel weg is. Niet heel bijzonder, weinig bitterheid, gewoon een aardige pils.

Clear pale golden colour, small foamy white head, mostly diminishing, minimal lacing. Aroma light malty, grain, wet white bread. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, malty, grainy, sweetbitter finish. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, okay.

750ml bottle shared at Bombay Brasserie Indian Restuarant, Peterborough. Pours clear pale golden orange with a loose white head. Aroma: sweet malty, corn, light floral hop, boozy. Taste: light to moderate sweet, yeasty, corn, hints of citrus. Light body, fine carb, snmooth mouthfeel, light sweet dry-ish finish

Draft at Salam Bombay, Vancouver, Canada. Pours crisp gold with medium white foam, fine. Aroma is weak lemony, not much else. Body is a little watery, with strong carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet, with appreciable bitterness. Finish is uninteresting.

Bottle from Spice Garden, Eastbourne. Did the job, not awful. Eat here tho!!! (13/10/17) ---- Bottle at Shad Indian, London. Too busy watching my friends suffer from thal and vinadloo. Easy drinking.

Flesje meegebracht van vakantie en gedronken met Tomhendriksen. Goudgeel bier met matig schuim dat snel weg trekt. Aroma van appel en smaak van toffer. Geen nasmaak.

Fles gedeeld door Inoven, geprobeerd in Oirschot. Het is een helder goudgeel bier met heel weinig schuim. Het heeft een beetje een appelgeur. De smaak is wat waterig, haast rijstachtig en een beetje toffee achtig en is snel weg.
