Bottled 330ml (AbM)
Dark brown color, small brownish head. Aroma has coffee, cocoa and metal. When it warms up even a bit tart. Light to medium-bodied. Metallic, dry flavor with toasted malts and ash. Not much going on here. Feels very dry. Yeast has overpowered the flavors. Meh.

Bottled 330ml (AbM, BB 09/2016)
Dark amber color, good creamy off-white head and lots of lace. Nose starts with must dry yeastyness, but when it opens up it gets resiny-hoppy aroma. Medium to full-bodied. Resiny with sweet crystal maltyness. Chewable even toffeish. Long lingering resiny aftertaste. Not totally in balance but for Hungarian beer it is quite good.

Opaque dark brown colour, tall macropore foamy tan head, half-way lasting, average lacing. Aroma roasted malts, dark fruits, cocoa, burned caramel; taste medium sweet and bitter, roasted, chocolate, light fruity notes. Dry bittersweet aftertaste yet bit thin, with metallic and earthy notes. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, disappointing.

Bottle at home, 11/08/16. Bought from Beers of Europe. Not a powerful aroma, fermented fruit. When swirled a coffee hit comes through. Pitch black, glossy. An initial monster of a head soon calms down in to an couple of mm of beige. Very light bodied, watery with a real tang. A sour fruit impact, which becomes more bitter. Can feel a sort of fruit acidity. Possibly sounds more interesting than it is, but certainly a refreshing porter.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail. BBE 09/2016. Pours dark reddish orange with a thick white head. Aroma of aged herbal hops, caramely malts, toffee, pine and resin. Taste is sweet, caramely malty and heavily resinous with some herbal notes, grass and pine, hints of tartness. Finish is crisp, malty and sweetish with some caramel, toffee, pine and loads of herbal resinous hops. A bit unbalanced, doesn’t feel very fresh.
