330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Cloudy dark brown colour with a one finger tan head, retention and lacing not good. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, berry fruit, hops. Taste of malt, some fruitiness, bitter coffee, burnt wood/smoke. Bitter dry coffee flavours in the finish, sweetened slightly by the fruitiness. The fruit flavours seem to become more subtle as you drink it though. Interesting porter but I think I prefer more typical ones.

Bottle. Great looking bronzy coloured beer with a very strong light brown to off white head coloured head. The aroma is hopped, and the flavour is extremely well hopped with heavy dryness and bitterness. Overall a very nice double IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Kb másfél centis habja egy perc alatt eloszlik. Átlátszatlan, borostyán színű. Illata citrusos, a citrusok héját idéző, és gyantás felhangokkal. Íze keserű, citrusos, picike gyantával. A kis alkoholtartalomból adódóan nem túl testes, ami per pillanat a harminc fokos délután után nekem iszonyúan jól esik. Jó kis ivós sör, egy meleg nap után. Frissítő, könnyed, de mégsem egy unalmas nagyipari láger. Utóíze hosszan tartó keserű, pici citrussal vegyítve.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, amber colour. Dense, messy, sticky, lasting, cream coloured head. Lots of legs. Fine looking beer. Nose has chewy, sticky malts. Hops come across dank, piny, and syrupy. Nothing too complex, but smells decent enough. Taste is big, dank, chewy bitter. Slick, oily mouthfeel. Lip sticking sweetness. Long, piny, sticky bitter finish. It’s not pissing about, this beer. Not at all subtle, and very enjoyable for it.

Nagy, tartós, sárgásfehér hab. Homályos, sötét borostyán szín. Illata intenzív komlós, citrusos. Íze intenzív komlós-keserű, kissé édeskés, gyümölcsös mellékízzel. Utóíze keserű, pici édes gyümölcsösséggel. Az alkohol jól elrejtőzik. Testes, nehéz sör.

Nagyon szép, nagy, tömör, hosszan megmaradó hab. Szűretlen, borostyán szín. Illata inkább citrusos, jobban hasonlít egy belga IPA-ra, mint búzasörre. Íze igen komplex, egyszerre ipás és búzás, plusz az amerikai sörökre jellemzően citrusos. Az erőteljes aromáktól a korty végén szó szerint össze futott a számban a nyál. Nagyon ízletes sör, jól eltalált remek darab. Az utóíze nem túl tartós, és leginkább a komlóról szól, vagyis inkább ipás, de egy jól eltalált fűszeresség is érezhető. Testes sör, de jól csúszik, az alkoholt is jól elrejtették.

Monumentális, nagyon tartós, piszkos fehér hab. Átlátszatlan, sötét borostyán szín. Fűszeres, komlós illat. Keserű, fűszeres, kissé malátás-édeskés. Utóíze keserű, picikét édeskés. Testes sör.

0.33 l bottle from Hopfanatic. Drank from the bottle in the hostel. Medium hopped, tropical hops aroma, some malts, chocolate and caramel. Not very bitter and alcohol well hidden. Woody notes and some biscuit flavors. Mostly sweet. Creamy texture, full body. Some tartness there, not sure if it’s intended. Room for improvement.
