16 ounce can. Nearly opaque black brown color. Frothy tan head leaves spotty lacing. Rich, roasted malt aroma has sweet, smoky notes. Sweet, roasted malt flavor upfront. Notes of chocolate, licorice, caramel, honey and toasted bread. Subtle smoke on the palate. Soft, silky carbonation. Absolutely delicious. A very approachable smoked dark ale that is wonderfully balanced and full of flavor. A must try for those that enjoy this style of beer.
