On tap at the Boise BP slightly hazy orange Amber fairly malty with some toasted Amber character. Piney resinous hoppiness lacking any rally of the classic hazy/juicy/tropical flavors I expected. Decent firm hop bite. A fair IPA but as hazy/NE it misses the mark

On tap at the Boise BP fairly clear deep orange light amber pour. Thin lasting off white head. Rather bland light caramel malt aromas. Lightly sweet papery woody malt flavors. Berybdiminished hop presence even for the style.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Milky amber body, scant head. Rating ad a golden, which h is the base style. Aroma us very faint berries and ginger, mere accents to the malts. Taste too he vaguely features the titled adjuncts. Smotth breaxy flavors, toast and jam

Finally got a chance to try this. On tap at the brewery this edition is listed at 6.8% and is on nitro. Very dark brown and a full dense creamy light tan head. Very nice moderate roast and chocolatey flavors and aromas. Nowhere near a Russian Imperial however. The maltiness is slightly sweet this could even be a "milk stout" . Nice toasty bitterness at the end and a lovely smooth nitro palette. Very good...but noting "imperial" about it.

Draft at the brewery. Nice deep brown, some light passes through. Small beige bubbly head. Dark malty aroma. Taste too, big and full. Not normally a brown ale guy, but this is really good.
