On tap at Sir William's Pub's 20th Anniversary. Pours clear dark brown, topped with thinner beige head, creamy and lasting. Strong smoky nose with little bit of wood and lots of bacon. Taste follows. Slight sweetness, smoky character all over it with some medium final bitterness and even more pronounced smokiness later on. Nothing wrong with the beer itself, proper smoked lager - just not a favourite of teh style at all.

330ml bottle, 8.4 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Firm beige head leaving spotty lacing behind. Black in the glass. Roasted, earthy malts on the nose, semi-sweet, promising. Mixed taste of dark berries, chocolate and toffee. Malt-fruity bitterness to the finish. Smooth in the mouth. Decent sipper on a dark Saturday eve. (Tromsø 27.01.2018).

On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Hazy orange, medium white head. Dry bitterness, herbal, hoppy, sweetish, some caramel, soft texture, bit watery. Light to medium bodied.

Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, smoke, and spices, leading to a bitter finsih.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. Pitch black with a thin tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, liqourice, dark malts and coffee. Taste is bitter. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with dark malts and coffee. Nice.

Bottle@Lars place - Black pour with beige head. Roasted and sweet malty with notes of chocolate and caramel with some burnt brown sugar, medium body, roasted and sweet malty into the close.

On tap at Mi(KK)ro Beer Fest. Pours almost black, with medium beige head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of roasted malt and a hint of fruit. Body is medium and carbonation average. Finish is mildly roasty, bitterness is very nicely rounded, hop note is present. Easy drinkable one but could do with more blueberries.
