Tap at Cap Tap. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Dank, rather fruity, aroma. Med + body. Flavor is dankish, fruitish, earthish and maybe a touch of citrus/pine. Maybe. Not wholly dry, more than moderately bitter. Smooth; not harsh. Goes down way too easy. Sort of NW without the strong bite. Good for me.

500 c&c from Cap Tap. (Note: Bottle says BA) Pours amber with a light tan head. Aroma is moderate peat. Peat enough to cover the rest. Med + body. Flavor is peat, musty wood, medium treacle. Itโ€™s not all that dry, in fact thereโ€™s a brown sugar note, but the peat and wood keep the sugar under control. The barrel must not have been super fresh, but the peat is strong enough to make the point adequately. Smooth, peaty and delicious.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a light copper color with an off white head. The aroma is very bready with caramel and berries, light plummy esters. The flavor is toasted with light caramel, plum, medium earthy hop bitterness. Very well balanced. It has a really nice silky mouthfeel. A tad oily on the palate. The toast and light caramel malt work nicely with the earthy hop profile. A boring style, but solid brewing practice on display here.

On tap at the 2016 SF beer week opening gala. It pours a clear dark amber color with an off white head. The aroma is lightly toasted with some richer cherry-like malt. Balanced. The flavor is the same. Very rich maltiness without being sweet or under attenuated. A little toast and plum with just a hint of coffee in the finish. Lots of character without hitting you over the head. Loved this one. Couldโ€™ve drank it all night.
