On tap at Shadow Puppet. It pours a lightly hazy pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma is lactic and lemony. Maybe a hint of melon, but mostly lemony with a hint of bread. The flavor is mildly tart with clean notes of lemon and melon in the background. Soft breadiness. Very smooth on the palate and a little fuller bodied than expected, but not sweet. A little on the boring side as it could’ve used a bit more sharpness to the lactic character, but otherwise very clean and well done.

On tap at the source. It pours a dark brown color with red highlights and a tan head. The aroma is sweet with some roasted grains and black cherry. The flavor is very cherry forward with roasted malt, light sweetness and ash in the finish. Not getting a whole lot of chocolate. Ok. Nothing off.

On tap at the source. It pours a light yellow color with a large, dense white head of foam. The aroma is nice and citrusy with some light menthol and pepper. Very bright and fresh. The flavor has solid lightly toasted bread and grains with hints of citrus peel and pepper in the finish. Lots of fermentation character, but no fusels or crazy esters. Very well done. Their best beer by far.

On tap at Shadow Puppet. It pours a golden color with a large foamy white head. The aroma is fresh and potent with flowers, grapefruit and pine. Light hints of caramel. Pretty good so far. The flavor has grapefruit, toast and pine. Hints of caramel malt. Fresh tasting with good attenuation. The bitterness is solid, but not over the top. A solid West Coast IPA.

On tap at Shadow Puppet. It pours an amber color with a light khaki head. The aroma is fruity with plum, fig and caramel. The flavor is the same. Bready with over ripe plum, hints of toast and caramel. A bit overly caramel for a Brown. Low bitterness. Watery mouth feel. Meh.

On tap at Shadow Puppet. It pours a clear amber color with a light khaki head. The aroma is sweet with mild notes of syrup, caramel and toasted malt. Hints of plum. The flavor is full bodied, lightly syrupy and sweet with caramel, toasted malt and lots of plum. Light earthy hops with medium bitterness. A little htick and sweet, but the flavors are pretty good and intense for an Amber Ale. Not bad.

On tap at Shadow Puppet. It pours a pale golden color with an off white head. The aroma has a little spruce, pine, bread and hints of pear. The flavor is heavy with foresty spruce and pine. Intense bitterness with some black pepper. A little on the harsh side. There are decent notes of lime zest and pear, but the earthy pine and spruce really dominate. Not what I usually get from Southern Hemisphere hops.
