In my point of view, it is a classical bock, not bad for the palate. The negative point is a touch of unpleasant alcool at the final. Even though, it is fruity, malty, side of sugar, grapes, a bit smocked, classical hop at the final, 05.09.2020, buying it at the coop, Zürich, next to the train station, drinking it at Epalinges.

330mL can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is pretty neutral, maybe a hint of vegetal notes. Flavour is clean, with sweet biscuity malt and not much else. It’s drinkable but has an industrial lager character to it. Not great.

500mL can, pours a fairly clear pale golden with a small white head. Nose is pretty skunky, smelling more like an industrial lager than anything. Flavour is marginally better, with some grassiness, a bit of cabbage, and lightly sweet biscuity malt on the finish. Definitely not a superior example of the style.

Bottled. Clear pale golden, rich head. Bready nose. Mid sweet with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Sweet bread and corn. Low bitterness.

Old rating from 25-01-16 - Picked up from a bottle shop in Berlin, 330ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden colour with a white head. Aromas are mildly of bread malt & slight wheat aroma as well as caramel. Tastes of is mildly sweet & bitter flavour, medium bodied with a calm, if not tame carbonation. Slightly bread caramel malt and wheat taste with notes of fruit including citrus, orange & banana. Sweet malty hopped finish with hints of wheat & fruit. Overall I really enjoyed this one.

Sample at Solothurner Biertage, may 2019. Almost clear pale golden with a white head. Medium strong aroma of citric hop, grass and pale malt. Flavor is quite light, pale malt, some citric fruit and moderate grassy bitterness. Easy thirst quencher.

Sample at Solothurner Biertage, may 2019. Black body with a big, foamy tan head. Aroma is mostly coffee. Flavor has dark malt and quite much, strong coffee, almost a bit sour coffee. Might say this reminds me about being served cold coffee with carbonation. Actually it isn't bad but there is too much coffee compared with the beer part, even for me that really love coffee.

[as Liechtensteiner Brauhaus Club Bier 03 Holy Bock] Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dal pane nero e soprattutto dall'orzo tostato. La finezza olfattiva è normale e l'intensità olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono la forma della frizzantezza. La carbonazione è allegra e vivace. Il colore è giallo ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è normale. La continuità gustativa è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di caramello, miele, biscotto, cereali, pane cotto di recente, agrumi e affumicato.
