Sample, thanks Robin Svensson! Clear pale golden, small head. Peppery nose with mild smoke and cooked vegetables. Sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Potatoes, peat, mild alcohol and notes of grass. Low bitterness.

29/4/2026. Can shared by Robin, cheers. Good pour. Aroma is malty, cardboard, rubber bands, peaty hints. Quite sweet, not harsh, boozy notes. Sweet caramel finish. Not too bad.

In my opinion, it is a decent stout for the price that you get it, sweet, sugar grape that is powerful, roasted malt, cacao, next one please, 26.04.17, at my hotel room in Paris.

Bottle, bb 11/26. Gold with a modest white head. Aroma is grainy and sugary. Sweet with some caramel and pears, that modest but still nagging bitterness some lagers have. Not good.

A big glass at the Irish Pub, Colombo. Drunk outside due to the volume of the band playing inside killing my ear-cells just while ordering the beer. Anyway, at least there’s some people atmosphere which can be pretty hard to find in this city. The beer itself - not much to say. It’s a little more interesting and adventurous than the standard Lion lager but nothing special.
