Our brewery derives its name from the first two atomic bombs detonated at the Nevada Test Site. These two test explosions were codenamed after the military’s phonetic alphabet of the time, making them tests “Able” and “Baker”.
The experimentation at the Nevada Test Site led to the refining of the Atomic Bomb and the ushering in of the Nuclear Age. This was a notable time in Nevada as “Atomic Blast” viewing parties were commonplace and several “Miss Atomic” beauty queens were crowned. The Atomic Age influences our artwork and concepts while allowing us to give a respectful nod to Nevada’s unique state history.
Draft: Poured a brown black with a tan head. Aroma is boozy, toffee, malty. Taste is boozy, bourbon, malty, vanilla and toffee. Sweet but well balanced too.
Draft: Poured a pitch black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, marshmallow, boozy, chocolate. Taste is roasted malts, marshmallow, boozy, coconut, chocolate.
Draft: Poured a dark ruby red with a white head. Aroma is pineapple, cherry, and pungent. Taste is sour tart, pineapple and cherries, and more of that sweet syrup balance.
Draft: Poured a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is juicy hops, danky, fruity, citrus. Taste is light bitter hops, fruity, melon rinds, and grapefruit.
Draft: Poured a hazy bright yellow with a white head. Aromas are juicy, hoppy, fruity, tropical. Taste is juicy hops, some sweetness balance, fruity, tropical, citrus, coconut.
