Sampled at Trails End. Pours a nice, amber color, with a small, bubbly, beige head. The aroma is resin, pine sap, toffee, chalk, and lime peel. Sharp bitterness, and light creamy sweetness. Light to medium body, with a sharp, grainy, syrupy mouthfeel. A bit dank, but dense, and pleasantly bitter. Pretty nice!

Taster at the Brass Tap. Pours an unclear brown, with a medium, beige head that leaves lots of good lacing. The aroma is cocoa powder, pumpernickel bread, orange zest, and hay. Sweet and malty, with a very mild bitterness. Light body, with a smooth, chalky, mouthfeel. Pretty good! Mellow and a bit thin, but well made and interesting.

Plenty of tea like you are conducting business in Morocco. Dark brown pour with good head and lacing. Some raw grain. Light bitter finish. Can.

Crisp, very hazy golden coloured body with a thick-ish, three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grass, coriander seed, wheat and a bunch of spices, but ginger is front and centre with some curacao and cardamom noticeable, but the ginger is strong. Medium-bodied; Assertive spices at first with a good wheat and malt kick showing some light sweetness at the end, but this is all about the spices and a touch of the pungency from the yeast strain near the end. Aftertaste shows a ton of spices, a lot of wheat and yeast complexities, with some mellow sweetness at the end, and a hint more of the spices noticeable, but making it more complex and enjoyable. Overall, a nice and very spicey saison with some lighter characteristics, but less of the wheat and dryness and way more of the spicey side of things, not in terms of 'heat', but actual spices in the kettle. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Beverage in Thornton, Colorado on 04-June-2017 for US$1,89 sampled at home in Washington on 18-September-2017.

10 ounce at the brewery - hazy purple - nose of brown sugar, dustiness, chocolate, pepper - flavor is sweet, but deeply spicy, with some earth and damn leaves, tobacco - the malt character is simplistic and sugary - and the odd leafy character is something I'm having a hard time enjoying - weird.

10 ounce at the brewery - hazy gold - sweet aroma of honey, flowers, grass - fairly sweet, but mild bitterness and moderate spicy phenolics try to balance, with mixed results - strong alcohol on the tail end - some good stuff happening, but it's messy and rough.

Tap at The Jailhouse in Buena Vista. Orange color. Yeast and some spice. Cardamom is oreset i the flavor but more so in the aroma and it leaves a slight grit on the palate.i think this is minimally sweetened. I like it.

On tap at Two Brothers, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out vanilla and coffee upfront, with a touch of toasted caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with a good mix of vanilla and coffee beans. Nice mellow concoction here. Nothing special but very pleasant.

Draft at brewery. Big smoky aroma, follows through to woody, ashy taste. Dark, dull pour, but big bold smoky flavor. This a solid smoked beer from start to finish.
