Bottle. Pours a dark copper with small beige head. The aroma is dark fruit, wood, whiskey. Medium body, roast, licorice, wood, boozy, good.

22oz bottle thanks to Steve. Pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is roast malts some bourbon barrel notes. Taste is more of the roast malts coffee chocolate and booze.

On tap at the brewery. Rich chocolaty dark brown. Described by my server as a Mayan Mocha Stout. Bittersweet chocolate and a littel pepper sizzle. Rich and smooth. I was dubious at first but very tasty.

On Tap at Prefunk Meridian slightly hazy dull light orange-yellow Thin wispy white head. Light Berliner tartness and significant fruit (cherry) flavors. Fairly tart and the right amount of saltiness to make it a gose. Quite good actually.

On tap at postmodern boise. First off I can’t believe I have not rated this one. It is the best beer they make in my opinion. Pours out black topped with a tan head. nose is roast ashy brine from the oysters and some sweetness. taste is more of roster very nice mineral brine along great with a nice end.

On tap at postmodern boise. pours out a golden copper color topped with a small sand head. nose is light hops and a cereal malt. Taste is more of the light hop notes and mild malts.

On Tap at the Boise brewery Black with a coarse tan head. Slightly sweet mild roast flavors chocolate. . Some mineral and almost briney character. Presumably from the oysters.

On Tap at the Boise brewery Black with redish brown edges.Tan head and clinging spotty lacing. Soft cinnamon chocolate flavor and aroma. A little sizzle spice at the end. Described as "Mayan Mocha" by the server. Quite tasty.
