Tap at brewery. Hazy golden color with white head. Malty aroma with lemony notes. Taste is nicely sour with valty notes, refreshing. Light salty. Easy drinkable good beer.

Mein letztes Bier in der Biskupská pivnice, also quasi einer Art Bischofs-Beisl war dieses leichere Schankbier. Dieses war nicht so speziell, aber doch gut und gemütlich trinkbar. Ein klassisches Bier zum Essen und als Sommerbier gut, aber sonst wird es schnell fade.

Nach dem innovativen IPL gab es auch ein eher klassisches IPA mit 14°PLATO. Dieses begeistert mich aber nicht so sehr. Es hat schöne grasiges Hopfennoten und ist recht bitter. Allerdings ist es nicht so sehr aromatisch, wie es sein könnte und ist hinten raus etwas flach. Man kann es gut trinken, auch wenn es nicht so süffig oder speziell ist.

getrunken im Keller einer Villa in der Nähe der Denisový sady von Brünn, wo man das Beisl Biskupská pivnice eingerichtet hat. Ein Lager, das offenbar mit viel amerikanischen Aromahopfen gebraut wurde. So ist es wahrlich würzig und erfreut mit grasigen und zitronigen Aromen, das man eher von amerikanischen Bieren kennt. Es mag nicht so harmonisch sein, aber die intensiven Hopfennoten machen es ein wirklich faszinierendes Getränk.

Mein 2. Schwarzes aus Tschechien vom Bierfest Brünn 2021 nach dem Pacov Rabin (Ich liebe das Zeug). Dieses ist nicht ganz so gemütlich süffig, hat aber auch fein herbe, leicht schokoladige Aromen und einen würzigen Abgang. Kein Top-Bier, aber auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert, wenn man es bekommt.

Straight from the tank, courtesy of the brewer! Very clear golden body, white head. Pleasant floral-citric-herbal aroma, Kazbek dominating everything. Relatively full taste - the brewer said that he uses wheat, but still drinkable enough, the hop balance leaning more towards the herbal, but with some citric-floral notes as well. Enjoyed it quite a bit, a very good, atypical 11°!

Tap at... the Taproom. Misty, slightly darker golden-orange body, off white head. The aroma is citric-herbal - a bit pellety, with some bready notes. Dry, quite dry taste, light lemony touches (almost but not quite hitting detergent notes), light breadiness and herbal notes. A fair but not excessive dose of bitterness too. Quite okay overall! 6/4/6/3/14

Tap at Pivni festival Brno. Medium body, med-light bready doughy maltiness and yeastiness. Med-high carbonation. Medium bitterness. Easy drinking, but my problem here is a lack of hops character, there is very little, resulting in a quite watery feeling. Light citrusy zesty notes. Okay, good but not great.
