Cask. Handpump. Steel City Beer Festival. Clear bronze. Suds of white. Easy best beer I had here. Marzipan and orange peel. Sweet nutty malt. Lovely hoppage overall on a well conditioned easy drinking big hitter.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham/Grumbo, 17/10/23. Moderately hazed orange with a decent just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is orange zest, grass, light pine, mellow tropical fruit esters. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, melon, spike of grapefruit, light pine needle, papaya. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced light juice laden hop bitterness. Tidy enough pale.

Cask at Hops, Crewe (4/10/23). This is the version produced by Thornbridge, but I have also drunk the original Kelham Island version, though I don’t seem to have rated it. Pours a golden yellow with as mall white head and good lacing. The aroma has malts and citrus plus some hoppy hints. In the mouth it is sweet with floral hops, oranges, grains and low carbonation. Later on some sharpness creeps in too. This is entirely reasonable – nice and refreshing.

16/9/2023. Can at the Vojens GP beer share. From Beer Central, Sheffield. Pours almost clear golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is rich, tropical, grassy, slightly piney and soapy. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Slightly oily, average carbonation. Drying finish. Enjoyable.

On cask at Greystones - Slightly hazy yellow body, white top. Biscuity nose, slightly bittersweet citrus taste. Nice sessionable ale.
