Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20110730]

Bottled@The Chriso Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011 "Donkey Dork Lord Edition". Yellowish golden colour, not much head. Aroma is fruits, vinegar, some mild fruity notes as well. Flavour is sugary apples along with some vinegar and mild herbal notes.

Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Pours pale yellow with a faint, white head. Tangy apple nose. Flavor is gross, very sweet, lots of sugar, slightly dank but very rancid. Medium bodied with fine, sparkling carbonation. Not very good. This cider combined two of my least favorite attributes of this style - excessive sweetness and excessive sparkle - and the results are diabolical.

Dark, a bit murky, brown color, tiny white head. Very sweet banana. Full-bodied. Very, very sweet Sahti - raisins, sugar, banana, honey. At least this is not sour like many others I’ve sampled from this Sahti maker. But way too sweet for sessioning (like good Sahti is).

(As Pihamaan Sahti - poured from a jug at Gallows Bird Kekri ’10) The beer had correct appearance: brown and cloudy without any proper head formation. Strong juniper aroma with some malty notes. The juniper was the strongest flavour in the taste, too. Other flavours were mild roastedness, malts, molasses and mild bitterness. I found this sahti quite balanced. The lack of banana and too strong sweetness were really good thing. Sadly the Pihamaa brews don’t usually have solid quality level.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of lemons. The flavor is sweet and a bit acidic with strong notes of lemon, but also some notes of flowers.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt as well as lighter notes of sulphur. The flavor is sweet with notes of sulphur and malt.

Bottle 50cl. w. swing top.Murky medium orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is caramel, fruity, orange, wood, rowanberry, juniper, tart citric - orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090321]
