Tummanruskea väri, ei vaahtoa, mutta jättää silti kevyehkön pitsin. Haju erittäin vahvasti hiivainen. Maku todella makea.

33 cl bottle @ Kinnarniemi. BBE 15.03.2017. Aroma is mellow with rye and some roastiness. Flavour has salty licorice, soy sauce and mild rye notes. Also mild plastic notes on some sips. And even some yeasty tones typical to Belgian ales. Clean and clearly best non-sahti from pihamaa. Too salty for me though.

33 cl bottle @ Kinnarniemi. BBE 18.05.2017. Aroma has toffee, caramel and fruity hops. Flavour has some fruitiness, dry mineral tones and some boiled vegetables typical to Laitila beers. Rather hoppy for a Pihamaa beer, not that enjoyable due to the off-flavours.

Bottle thanks to Janne - pours muddy brown tan head - nose/taste of mushed brown banana peel, juniper, tree bark, earthy dirty dark fruit in earth, brown sugar, light smoked herbs - medium body.

Flip top bottle to start the long weekend thanks to my Sahti source VastActiv. Murky muddy red pour. Nose is over ripe fruit, banana bread, and herbal. Tastes of banana, candy, plums, brown sugar, herbs, dates, light smoke. Slight alcohol warming but overall well hidden. Chewy mouthfeel and sweet finish. Decent one.

Bottle 0.33l from Viini-Heila, Heinola. BBE 5/16. Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain, paper and some malts. This one has nothing to do with hefeweizen. Musty and useless. I have seen better bulk lagers.

Bottle 0.33l from Viini-Heila, Heinola. BBE 4/2016. Colour is brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Chocolate, dark chocolate, some grain and malts. Quite weak body. Brown ale? Aroma has some strange issues.
