Bottled (backlog). Yellow colour, not too much head. Aroma is apples, some mild vanilla, vinegar and nectar. Flavour is rather similar in a quite nice balance. Mild acidic notes to it as well. By the time of the rating, this was one of the better real ciders in Finland.

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, berry, tart, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, wood, berries, Per says it is lingonberry tartness ! Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150723]

Fonefan 100415. Golden-yellow colour with no head. Aroma is apple, yeast. Flavour is apple, sugar, yeast, sourness. Ordinary cider.

Aroma has sweet toffee, roastiness and some butter. Flavour has toffee, some butter, cold-ish coffee. Finishes somewhat ashy and dry. A clean and flavourful Pihamaa beer, what is this? Well, at least there’s some diacetyl in the background. Something between brown ale and schwartzbier. Well, I have to take back the clean part – the butter & diacetyl take over after some sips and this also starts to feel rather dry.

Aroma has chocolate, harsh malty notes and syrupy tones. Also very slight sour and hayish tones. Flavour has hay, some bush leaves, mild sourness and rubbery tones. Finishes with burnt cereal. The sourness grows stronger after some sips. Not good.

Aroma has cardboard, funky yeasty notes and some bush leaves. Flavour has bush leaves, some yeasty notes and cardboard .Finishes harsh bitterness, vinegar and some sourness – green & raw apples. Foamy palate. Drain pour.
