--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Dark brown with small beige head. Faint brandyish caramel aroma. Sweet and salty with near full body and clean mouthfeel. Soy sauce and salmiak, caramel and chalk. Resinous boozy bitter finish

Bottle. A faintly foggy pale golden colored beer with a nice white head leaving curtains. The aroma is quite fruity-sweetish, with dried fruit, generic citrus and a touch of pale malts. Peach candy too. It's quite thin on the palate, even for an alcohol free beer, with a soft carbonation. Semi-sweet, with a low bitterness. level. Peach candy, dried tropical fruit, dried apricot, orange and grass in the flavor. Fruity finish. Too candy-ish this one, not much of a refresher, too sweet, but sure there's some pleasant things going on too. Still, there's plenty of more interesting alcohol free on the market. 230114

Bottle, 11%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate and liquroice. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, medium sweet, liquroice, hop, little dark fruit and medium bitter.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is toffee, some floral and liquorice, and some mild alcohol to it. Flavour is chocolate, syrup, liquorice, alcohol and some mild toasted and coffeeish tones. Too syrupy, otherwise quite ok.

Bottle 70 cl. Pours an opaque black with a light brown head. Aroma is lightly smoked with a licorice note. Not a super rich body - it IS bottom fermented after all. Rough roastiness, quite some harsh and bitter roast. Plenty of underlying hard, English licorice (try googling Lakritol) but absolutely no trace of the plums. Malt bitter finish. 311222

Can from Aldi, who is getting out of Denmark now. Metallic cheap beer aroma, faint roasted malty note. flavor is roasted malty, caramelly, bitter dark caramelly, bitter nutty, old-european-hops-bitter hoppy, sweet caramel. a weird mix of flavors , unfortunately the bitterness is pretty bad, bitterness is like something mouldy , or some nuts or leaves you were not supposed to eat.. sweetness is fine, but tastes like cheap sugar or cheap caramel and decent licorice. Tastes like every corner have been cut in order to get the price down, and brew fast. Not undrinkable, the licorice sort of hides the worst things after a few sips.

Little cloudy amber to light orange beer, practically no head. Aroma: quite some ginger all right, pisces, ripe banana, yeasty. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, ripe banana, yeasty, spicy, lots of ginger, almost a ginger burn as a matter of fact. Aftertaste: sweet and spicy, yeast touch, lots of ginger still. Good ginger beer, I do like ginger of course, so it’s hard to do me wrong with a ginger beer, even if it’s too sugary like this one.
