Optisch dunkles Spezibraun, in der Nase Malz, im Trunk ebenso, leichte Süße, verhältnismäßig süffig, dezent röstig, das passt. Deutlich besser als das IPA. Mit ordentlich Malz kann man auch nichts falsch machen ;-)

Mal wieder so ein Craft Beer vom Lidl, Glück auf! Optisch wunderbar, schöner Schaum. In der Nase extrem malzig, keine Frucht, dazu Maische. Im Trunk recht unrund, Malz, Getreide, dann leicht Alkohol. Also insgesamt eher englisch in Stil. Nicht schlecht, aber auch nichts besonderes. Zum Essen okay.

0,5 l botte from Lidl, Germany. Golden and slightly cloudy in the glass, very small head. Fry gariny on the nose, little bit elder fruity. Taste has grainy sourness, some black tea with citrus in the background. Watery. Low carbonated. Meh.

Nach dem grauslichen Karlens Ginger-Bier brachte man mir dieses IPA auch von der Karlens-Brauerei. Auch das ist kein großer Wurf, aber zumindest hat es keine falschen Aromen oder offiziellen Fehler. Sonst ist es eher flach oder fad. Kann man trinken, wenn man knapp bei Kasse ist, aber wirklich schmackhaft ist es nicht.

Eingetrübte orange Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Fruchtig hopfiger, leicht malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich erstaunlich getreidig, die Fruchtigkeit kann sich damit nicht anfreunden und zeigt zwar einige schöne Ansätze nach Citrus und Pfirsichen, bleibt aber irgendwie isoliert. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer bis hoher Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit aktiver Kohlensäure.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Im Geruch präsentiert sich schon der Ginger, der im Geschmack dermaßen überhand nimmt das dieses Bier sehr unangenehm wird. Dazu kommt eine präsente Bitterkeit. Mittlere Süße mit hoher Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
