0,66 flaske fra Kvaddås juleudsalg, delt med fhv. skibsreder under romjulsrating på Bjørnøy: Nesten helt sort med fint cremeskum der varer. Røykmalt og mørke malter, brente mandler, kruttsterk (espresso)kaffe, mørke karamelchokolader og et strejf af overmodne brombær. Solid bitterhed, dog uden at blive ubehagelig. Farlig let dridkelig mtp vitamininnholdet, men livet er for kort til å drikke lorteøl.

Bottle 70 cl. Pours an opaque, nutty brown with a beige head. Nutty, toffeeish aroma. Medium body, roasty, nutty, toasty with a subdued bitterness. Some sort of Amber/Brown hybrid. 261221

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavior. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Black with a thick and lasting off-white head. Complex roasted aroma with chocolate, caramel and licorice, along with hints of smoke and wood. Sweetish, hard roasted flavour with smoke and ash and elegant oak character.
