(bottle) Clear, yellow coloured hue with a thick and dense foamy white head. Light-sweet and dusty malty and sour doughy nose with grassy hops. Light-bitter flavour, quite slim bodied, almost watery texture with a moderate carbonation. Slim malty, slightly doughy taste with grassy hoppy notes. Slim and mildy bitter finish with grassy hops and a tinge of metal. Absolutely boring and uninspiring macro Pils.

(bottle) There is not much to say about the quality of this one. A typical german mainstream Pilsener. Slight hoppy aroma with malts. The taste is malty and hoppy with a weak dry hopbitter finish. The label on my bottle says: brewed by Lindenbrauerei, Unna, but that brewery closed in 1979. Nowadays there is an interpretive centre with a brew pub. They started to brew an unfiltered beer called LindenBier (and sometimes a specialty brew) a few years ago, that is not to be mistaken with this one and all the other macro brews with the label “brewed by Lindenbrauerei, Unna”.

Bottle: Pale golden, thin, lasting foamy layer; weak traces of malts of malts and some grassy hoppiness in the nose; the initial bready taste becomes a bit drier and more bitter towards the end; bitter aftertaste, watery mouthfeel, some metallic notes in the finish. Pretty bad !

(Bottle 33 cl) I believe the Germans were the first to invent a method to remove carbohydrates from beer making it both less fattening and suitable for diabetics - hence the term "Diät Pils". This comes pale golden with a small head and a very hoppy aroma. Has some metallic notes reminding me of low alcohols. A bit flat - overall not so pleasant. 010101
