Cask Very pale honey colour; disparate transparant B.C."H.". Rather sweetish nose, pizza dough, with some herbal-hoppy quality. Pale malts with a very slight smoked edge - smoked hops added? There’s a light hoppy bitterness, but giving in to the malts. Ever so slightly citrussy flavoured. Light, very light, with a slight slickness. It’s not undiserving. An entrance for the boys...

Casked (as Chimera IPA, 6.7%). Honeyish golden colour with foamy white, longlasting head. Aroma is honey, nectar, hops and slight earthyness. Flavour is enormously flowery hops balanced up with some honey and spices. Spices and grass mainly dominate the aftertaste. A very pleasant one.

500ml bottle from Bacchanalia, Cambridge. I was looking forward to this. Some people had bad bottles, so I was in two minds, but I had a good one. Gold colour with lasting white head. Strong citrus astringent hop aroma. Really very leafy floral hop, like De Ranke XX Bitter. Just gorgeous. Enough malt to give it a bit of body. Sour astringent aroma. Sherberty hop finish. Wonderful.

Cask (as Downton Dark Delight, also 5.5%). Dark amberish ruby/brown colour with mediumsized bubbly head. Aroma is hops, wood, some caramel and chocolate. Flavour is sweet caramel malts as well as grass and some wooden hints. The finish gets hayish/grassy and dry. Some slight roast also, once it got warmer.

Cask@O’Connells. Quick rating, before running the crap out of myself to get on the train... which showed to be 20 minutes late... typical. Anyway, good beer to end the beer day in Tampere with. Hazy golden colour, small creamy white head. Fruits, spicyness, hops, slight wooden hints in the aroma. Flavour is fruity hoppy and caramellish. Aftertaste is flowerish hoppy.

(Cask at Priory Arms, Stockwell, London, 24 Nov) Golden amber colour with small white head. Fruity nose with distinct aromas of citrus, mainly grapefruit. Lots of hops. Fruity taste with notes of grapefruit, pine-needles and a lovely citrussy, hoppy finish. Slightly sweet, but with a lovely hop character. Very nice.

Casked. Pale copper coloured, bubbly head, which vanishes quite quickly. Vegetables, caramel malts as well as slight hoppyness in aroma. Grassy and hoppy flavour with some sweet caramellish malts in it. Quite wellbalanced. Rather thin.
