Taste: very roasted, alcohol, bitter, cocoa powder, bit oxidized, bit sweet, caramel touch. Aftertaste: alcohol, roasted, more alcohol, bit sweetish, mocha, maple, coffee, soft acidity, nice one!

Brewed at east end in Pgh. Some kind of collaborate brew, who knows. Cost me $8 at helicon. THey say the profit goes to the camp foire, what profit? What percent of what I pay? Darker pale. Slight hop aroma. Big bold bitter IPA taste. Very good co2 for a mouth coating IPA! Quite bitter and on style, what else can be said? In yer face hoopy malt finish. Not impressed but good IPA cause.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured an orange tan color with a medium sized foamy off white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was strong sweet berry and yeast. The flavor was somewhat tart but sweet with sugar, berry and yeast. Long finish. Medium body. Pleasant.

Tap at JR's. I don't thin its la prima, so it must be common, well at least they're the most recent ratings. Big and black, nose is quite boozy, and that booziness form a continuum across all aspects of this beer from start to finish. No hint of coffee in the nose. Yes, this is almost 7% and its proud to let you know. Think more alky than coffee in this brew. Volatile, does not hide its dizzying effects well. Mostly just a thinner antifreeze dark coffee beer, sans coffee, heheheh. Not impressed, but you may be. Would be better with just a little more coffee attributes.
