Bottled (from AbM). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral and mild grassy notes along with some caramelly notes. Flavour is quite similar with some mild yeasty and doughy notes as well. Smooth.

50cl bottle. Poured hazy golden with a thin white head. Quite malty, hoppy, light citrusy, herbal aroma. Flavor has citrus, hops, malt, biscuits and butter. As it gets warmer the buttery notes gets stronger. Light bodied, bitter finish. A bit off this one.

Black with a thick creamy head. There’s plenty of roasted malts in both aroma and taste but contained within a mild body.

Cask at Craft Beer Rising. It pours deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is spice, wood, earth, dark fruit and candy sugar. The taste is caramel, wood, earth, some bitterness, umami aspect, pepper, molasses and fruit cake with a dry, woody finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Rather drinkable.

Cask at Craft Beer Rising. It pours hazy deep amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is pungent hop, farmyard, urine, citrus and earth. The taste is resinous, oily hop, earth, assertive bitterness, pithy citrus, salty wood and sherbet with a big bitter finish.Medium body, soft carbonation and slightly cloying mouth-feel. Big, brash and bitter...but definitely not elegent.

Hand-pump, shared a half pint with Finn at NWAF ’13. Faint white head, fragile lacing. Red-brown coloured body, unclear. Malt-fruity aroma, lightly spiced. Flavour is built on fruit caramel and offset by berries and sappy fruits. Smooth bittersweet ending. A decent British bitter brew (Manchester, 25.01.2013).
