16oz can. Poured a very dark blueberry, blackberry fruit juice color with a small, almost wispy ruby head. Aroma was huge blueberry notes, with a pleasant lemon tartness. Interesting stuff! Wife really liked it.

Mostly clear amber body medium foamy off white head. Berry oak funk aroma. Berry oak funk grainy flavor. Medium body moderate carbonation. 7/4/7/3/14 3.5

Tap at the brewery. Super sweet, pastry style. All the flavors are big, but overall just comes off artificial. Good for a chocolate shop beer.

Tap at Ten Eyck. The natural blueberry is the highlight here...the underlying beer is a little hard to decipher at this point. Certainly lacks any drinkability like a Grisette, so scratch that idea. Sour saison is fine. A little messy and not that impressive, but fun to try.

Tap at Ten Eyck. Mediocre, not really true to style. No real lager depth, and not enough hop tone or depth. Drinks more like a Zwickel. Not that good.

Fermented in oak. Really buttery, I get no lager tone but lots of Foeder. Pretty bad.

While Strata and Citra aren't really the ideal hops for the style, the base beer is solid. Strata and Citra vie for dominance, Strata wins. Would have been nice if properly hopped. Smooth rice touched backdrop.

Light hops aroma. Not really sure what this Kazbek is supposed to taste like, can't get a sense of it. Golden pour with decent head. Crisp finish. Can.

Roast and light foeders. Black pour with mocha head and lacing. Bitter finish with a hint of molasses. Bitter finish. Pretty nice Can.
