We brew to age old, tried and tested methods but add a modern twist to produce up to the minute thirst-quenching craft beers of piquancy and evenness. Established in 2017, we upscaled to our current Brewery in 2019 and created a custom built 10 barrel brewhouse enabling us to create 360 gallons per brew. Our focus is on Pale Ales, India Pale Ales and American Pale Ales with some more hop forward than others. They are vegan friendly. Phil, Karen and son Adam, the head brewer, started the business.

Can from the brewery online shop. Appearance - amber with a creamy off-white head. Gentle carbonation. Nose - toffee and brown bread. Taste - toffee, orange peel and a general backdrop of bread. Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy middle and a finish that's lightly roasty and just falls short of being astringent. Overall - decent example of the style.

Can from the brewery online shop. Rather than being described as a strong pale ale, this one is described as a session pale ale. And it's 4.6%. Appearance - bright golden yellow with a nicely proportioned creamy, white head. Gentle carbonation. Nose - graprefruit, lemon, pine and light biscuit. Taste - creamy grapefruit, custard and with just an edge of pineapple. Palate - light bodied, creamy middle, light, bitter finish. Possibly slightly undercarbonated, a bit like a cask ale. Overall - good stuff.

After some effort I finally managed to track down a bottle of beer both brewed and sold on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey; I found it in Tredici deli in Beaumaris. Unfortunately, the beer itself didn't live up to the beauty of its surroundings. It's a clear pale amber beer with a white head, and it's a bit too fizzy for my liking. There's a pleasant grapefruit aroma. The taste is rather more restrained, with light citrus and digestive biscuits. It's got a dry finish (which I like) and a bitterness which is unfortunately too harsh for the mild flavours. Overall just ok.

330ml bottle conditioned (BB Dec 2018), bottle number 1027, poured into an old Hoegaarden Grand Cru tulip glass at home on 6th July 2018. Hazy, dull amber body, white topping. Orange peel in the aroma and taste, dank hops however rule the brew, it's hoppy, bitter and dry overall.
