Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. A new brewery for me. Clear amber with thin off-white head. Sweet fruitiness with berries, grapefruit, burnt toffee, orange zest, pine. Drying and very bitter toasty finish. Smooth medium body but slightly cloying and dry at the end. An odd little number although I quite like it. Plenty of flavour but slightly off balance.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A bright pale amber pour with a thin white head; citrus aroma; light citrusy taste with a sweet base; and a pithy grapefruit bitterness to finish. Very drinkable.
